Ski Trip- Mont Tremblant -Feb 6, 2003

THINK SNOW !!!!!

An annual trip that has been running annually since 1974. We traditionally travel on the last weekend of January(leaving on Thursday-returning Sunday) to one of the better resorts in the East. Over the years we have visited Lake Placid, many Vermont resorts including Smugglers Notch, Stowe and others. We have covered all the areas of Quebec from Eastern Townships to the Quebec City region to the great resorts in the Tremblant Region.

The trips began as groups of bank employees getting away together but have developed into an annual outing  for friends from many areas across Ontario. One of the unique features is multiple pick up points such as London, Niagara, Burlington, Toronto and points along the 401 corridor as demand warrants. In this way our groups end up being from accross the region and not from one specific area.

Camaraderie has been a hallmark of these trips, and whether it is your first trip or one of many you will instantly become a member of the family. Come as a single, come as a group, all are welcome. Regardless of your ski ability you are welcome, in fact we welcome even the non skier and will adjust the price so you are not paying for the lifts.

Accomodations vary according to the resort but usually we stay at slopeside condominiums so that during our stay you can walk to the lifts or ski right to your door.

The trip has many many returnees each year and we try to keep our size limited so early booking is usually necessary to ensure availability.

In the following pages you will find details of the most recent trip and we invite you to contact us for availability and booking.

TREMBLANT ACCOMODATIONS

The accomodations at Tremblant are far and away the best you can get. We stay in 3,& 4 bedroom slopeside condos, which allow you ski in ski out availability. Although subject to change the units selected for this year are the Algonquin and La Clarierer complexes which can be seen on the Tremblant Sunstar web site link. The condos are all very well appointed and have fully equiped kitchens, and are most comfortable. Groups are accomodated on a two person per bedroom. The village is a short walk and a shuttle service is also availble.

Travel Arrangements

Travel is by deluxe highway coach. Pick up times and exact locations will be advised closer to the date. We schedule travel so that arrival in Tremblant is early Thursday evening, allowing you to either sit by the fireplace and have an early evening so you nare rested for skiing Friday, or for the adventuresome, the entire Village of Tremblant is at your disposal including fine dining and great night life.

Gone are the days of arriving in the wee hours of the morning with barely enough rest, only to face the slopes in the morning wondering what hit you. Although if that is your choice be our guest.

We also schedule departure around noon on  Sunday allowing everyone some time to sleep in and then load the buses after a visit to the beautifull Village  for their great brunches and last minute shopping. Arrival home is scheduled for early evening on Sunday so you are ready for that monday morning at work all rested and refreshed (good luck!).

SKIING or RIDING

It just does not get any better than this. Great variety for every level of skier/rider, from beginner to expert. Enjoy the highspeed lifts and gondola that wisk you to your desired slope.

Trembant also boasts one of the best ski schools in North America, so take the opprotunity to hone your skills.
